WhatsApp Facebook Messenger Shows Hints of Cross-Chat Support With WhatsApp
We are also aware that Mark Zuckerberg aims to merge also Facebook-owned businesses so that people can move easily from one site to another. Facebook Messenger has shown early signs of cross-chat support and compatibility with WhatsApp as confirmed by WABetaInfo, a Twitter account that keeps a close eye on the new WhatsApp developments and notifications.
The idea seems to be easy, too good-Facebook Messenger will also be linked to chats from WhatsApp.
There is a difference between the two platforms, while WhatsApp stores all chats within a user device and it is end-to-end encrypted and of course ad-free, Messenger is completely opposite.
The above image shows the reference to tables being created in a local FB Messenger database that is essentially needed to manage messages, and services and also mentions elements to enable Messenger to connect with WhatsApp users. The reference also includes information about the chat recipient, push notifications, and so on.
