Google Forbids Employees To Use Zoom In & Out Of Office
According to BuzzFeed News, Google has removed the popular videoconferencing software Zoom from the devices of its employees.
Last week, Google sent an email to employees whose work laptops had the Zoom app reading: “We have long had a policy of not allowing employees to use unapproved apps jobs outside of our business network, “Google spokesman Jose Castaneda told BuzzFeed News.
Our protection department recently told workers using the Zoom Desktop App that it will no longer be operating on business machines because it does not meet our safety requirements for applications that our workers use. Employees who used Zoom to keep in touch with family and friends will continue to do so with a web browser or cell phone.
