Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey Sets Aside $1Billion For Charity And Coronavirus Relief
Square and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said he is donating $1 billion in Square equity to support relief efforts for the COVID-19 efforts.
“I transfer $1B of my Square Equity to #startsmall LLC to fund COVID-19 for global relief” mean (~28% of my wealth)
Dorsey said on Twitter. Dorsey stated that once “we disarm” COVID-19, the money will be dedicated to universal basic income (UBI) and girls’ health and education. “Why pull just from Square and not Twitter? Simply: I own even more of Square,’ he said.”So I’ll have to keep up with the sales for a while. The long-term effect of this money will favor all businesses as it benefits the people we want to represent.
“I’d rather have a smaller a part of “> a part of something big than a much bigger part of something small. I ‘m going to get high on Twitter positive!” And then he tweeted.
